It’s Monday and for me that means “Mindset Monday!” What is your mindset today? Where are you? Where would you like to be? [I’m just full of questions today…I am in question mode since I had 4 amazing Podcast interviews today! Living Intentionally with Amy Smalarz is launching this week – so stay tuned!]

I did take some time yesterday for my Strategy Sunday…not as much as I would have liked but I’m celebrating the small win of giving myself a little bit of time to close my eyes and at least think.

So here we are – Monday! While many people dread Mondays, I actually have learned to love them, and here’s why. I see each week, each day actually, as an opportunity to do something. Now, it’s up to me to choose and decide what that something is – but it’s my choice. And this week, my main theme or action Words are tenacity and grit. They are reminders that this week is a time to focus and get one of my larger projects done and out there!

That’s why I’m writing about sticking with it. How many times have you come up with an idea, loved it, started it and then either lost interest – or worse…loved it but thought it was too hard or was more work than you bargained for and gave up?!?

I say that is worse because if you just lose interest, well I take that to mean it’s not something you were meant to do. But if you love something and don’t follow through because it’s too hard or because you aren’t sure what it will look like in the end..? Well, my friend, that means it’s something you NEED to do. The more is scares you, the better!

I am choosing the action words of tenacity and grit this week to remind me that I am an action taker and that even though I may be scared (I am), or worried it won’t be perfect (I am) or that I want to do more (I do) I need to STICK WITH IT! I need to follow-through. And that means knowing that even though I am scared, that it won’t be perfect and that I will want to do more – I will at least be sharing part of myself and what others have shared with my community. And at the end of the day, it isn’t about me but about helping others. It’s about helping people realize there are any different definitions of Living Intentionally and many ways to bring it into your daily life.

I will ask again:

  • What is your mindset today?
  • Where are you?
  • Where would you like to be?

What is something you can stick to this week and get done?

And as a colleague recently said: “To deprive that of others is a bummer.”

So, on that note, I am sticking with it – and you should to!
